The crude steel production of Russia and other CIS countries plus Ukraine was 7.1 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 3.5%, indicating a decline in steel production in the region.

The crude steel production in North America reached 9.2 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 1.4%, with countries such as Canada, the United States, and Mexico showing stable performance, supporting the sustained development of the regional steel industry.
